End the pointless suffering of children and parents that only serves to bolster the perpetrating parents' personality disorder(s) and dysfunction(s) of character so that they can continue to inflict their harms on the truly fit parent and their own child. Fit parents pursue an objective of equality with unfit parents; they do not alienate, they hold accountable the negative behaviors with the objective of resolving them, so that they can be full and complete parents, which alone is the child?s best interest. I wish those not experiencing alienation could comprehend the moment to moment suffering, because if they did, they would end this abuse immediately.

Judges are too quick to accept the lies of angry women when deciding a child's future without hearing or even wanting to hear the truth. This judicial corruption must be put to an end.

While I don't believe this particular petition proposes the most viable path for dealing with this severely legally entrenched problem (bearing in mind that we are dealing with pathological lying in many if not all cases), I hope it gets someones attention!!! And that something will be done. Utah's new laws are quite brilliant, btw, providing for loss of parenting time should one parent refuse to support the other's time or make false accusations of abuse, etc. This is the enforcement necessary to nip a lot of potential alienating in the bud. http://le.utah.gov/~2015/bills/static/HB0035.html

You never can understand or comprehend this atrocity until you experience it.

Decisions made by one judge on the advice of one (probably biased) evaluator cannot possibly be fair and equitable or good for the child. A jury system should be in place to consider all evidence and would uphold the constitutional rights of all. Giving all the power to one individual to decide the fate of a child is medieval. But this entire country is run this way. The children are suffering and good parents are becoming frantic to protect their rights. With no relief in sight without major changes in the family court system, evidence is ignored due to the bias of this system for the sake of the money generated. The court is only looking at their bottom line, which is to make money. Hearings by jury would eliminate the bias.

I am a parent affected by parental alienation. I ahvr been fighting this battle for almost 4 years. My children have been convinced that I am the abuser. My children believe that if they have a relationship with me they will be sent to foster care. Please change these laws and the investigations processes for child protective services in all state . Give our social workers more training and education to make proper choices for our children affected by child abus . Place more services in conflict situations of the parents to help elevate the conflic .

Gentlemen, One thing I am extremely confident of is that we all will, as a society soon look back on this period in history as a very dark time! Not unlike any other crime against humanity. Its a social injustice. Moreover, its a crime. The Judges the attorneys for the most part perpetuate this corporation that is the Family Judicial system....Family Justice? One judge, one human, fallible human being. Deciding the fate of the lives he or she know little of? So they can get to the next docketed case? That is not justice! We will all look back and say " how did we let this occur?" Not unlike any other social inequity or social injustice inflicted on other tragic periods in our recent history. Do I have to name them? Pick one... Its an inhumane act and will have a lasting effect for many years to come. How did we let this happen? Because we allowed it! Parental Alienation will never be allowed to be recognized by the DSM as a Psychiatric medical disorder..Why? Because its a 500 Billion dollar a year industry! Provides more revenue than any branch of the judiciary that I am aware of. If we allow this crime that we as a government are committing to continue, The affects are going to rest on the shoulders of our leaders! I don't know about you. But I wouldn't want to carry that legacy. This is an epidemic! Not a problem... Be well and Lead well! Kevin H. Vaughn

My daughter has refused to allow my 5yr old grandson any contact with his biological father, since meeting her now, live-in boyfriend, online, 2yrs ago. My grandson's father has attempted to have a relationship with my grandson but, the boyfriend has total control of my daughter & grandson. This is emotional & psychological abuse, of the child & a father that has done nothing to deserve alienation from his child.

This is a problem dear to my heart . My child is currently living with her dad in another state be a use ONE judge was misled by ONE Guardian adLitem who would not listen to/read/ pass on all the material made available to her. My daughters been go e awhile and a judge won't listen to her until she's 12. Even then it's just a want and not necessarily the decision maker. She still wants to come home. And while the court order says unlimited phone e contact, that does not happen. And her visits are managed to such a point that I see her maybe 6 times a year for a three day weekend. My e, husband even told her that the reason I had other children after she left was to replace her. Thankfully, even with limited contact, she still k ow we love here and she's very much welcome to come home here when she's allowed by the court. There's no telling just how much the years she's gone are going to effect her relationships with extended family or within herself. Maybe if we had more than one person who had more in common personally with my exhusband to influence and inform the judge, things would not have turned out the way they did.
