9. Lobbying consists of citizens making appointments with the elected officials from their own districts or states or with the president or vice president and sitting down in their office to talk. No money changes hands. No special favors. No campaign contributions or contributions to a politician's honoraria fund. 10. All campaigns at all levels of government are paid for solely by the government. Candidates may not even use their own funds to run. Thanks for the chance to voice our opinions. This should have been passed years ago. Why are our congressmen and women exempt from paying into S.S and getting a salary after they retire?
