The last group that harmed this nation as badly as our current representatives - died in the airplanes they were on! This group on capital hill are paid far more than they EARN, and the work they do is for their PARTY not the PEOPLE. I didn't spend 20 years in the Army for these miscreants to disrespect that effort and all the sacrifices of the current and past members of our Military, Fire, and Police services. (Who actually risk their lives for the people of their communities and nation.) These rich, privileged people - WE elected - are not doing what they were elected to do - which is run this country and I don't mean into the ground!! Time has come for them all to go back to where they came from and maybe observe the mess they have made. One more thing before they go - we need to terminate their obscene retirement and health programs. They don't deserve them. Let them have the same ones we are struggling with (or without).REPORT COMMENTS

The fact that a relatively small group of members of the House can exert their will and subvert the laws of the land by means of extortion is abhorrent. The American people are being mislead by this group and literally lied to. They are not abiding the laws of the Constitution regarding the making of law and/or amending the law. They are endeavoring to present President Obama as someone who has no care or concern about the deficit and the budget. Extortion is not the way to obtain your goals. Stating that you (i.e., "Tea Party" members of the House) will not either raise the debt limit or reopen the Government unless the President gives into their demands regarding Obamacare, the budget, or anything else they can throw out there is morally wrong and, unconstitutional. We need to have tax reform, there will be changes needed to be made to Obamacare, as well as taking a hard look at Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. These things need to be addressed according to the rules of the House and Senate. BUT NOT UNTIL the Government is opened and the debt limit is raised. (Six weeks raising of the debt limit is foolish). Raise is until the end of the year and in the new year, work tirelessly to pass a budget that does not penalize only the poorest amongst us by taking away their safety net completely.REPORT COMMENTS
