These dogs are NOT JUST Equipment! They work along side our men and women every day! Matter of fact, they work harder in one day than MOST of our politicians do in a year! -

Those dogs are doing more for our country, for the men/woman who are fighting for our country then any politician. I think we should bring the dogs home and send the politicians there to stay!REPORT COMMENTS

If we must have wars, we must bring our veterans home. This should include all who serve -- humans or dogs. They have all paid a huge price. They deserve a real life. We used pigeons in WWII and honored them. Let's honor our canine allies as well. This SHOULD BE MANDATORY.REPORT COMMENTS

These dogs gave their lives for their human soldiers and for our freedom, too. They are companion animals first and foremost and deserve to be cared for. They should all be allowed to be brought back with their caretaker and given a proper retirement of love and care for their service.REPORT COMMENTS

When I read Goldberg's article, I spent 2 weeks calling gov. offices,, news stations, oprah,Pres. hotline, canine office of Pittsburgh, the new Rocco Law. and officials in other states as well. Most official offices had no idea this was the military law for our 4-legged heroes of war. I had hoped someone from at least 20 offices I contacted would start talking until the right people listen and make the change. I contacted all offices that these e-mails are being sent, also. When I say contacted, I mean I called by phone. I wanted to talk to a live person. E-mails are too easily ignored. And these dogs cannot speak for themselves, so we have to do it for them. If we could but feel from our hearts again, we can change the world one step at a time. Lets step in the right direction for these life saving angels. DebbieREPORT COMMENTS

Bring home all military dogs that serve overseas in the military. Damned the cost. Give the military handlers the first option in their civilian adoption.REPORT COMMENTS
