This economy needs to get organized. They need to make a federal budget. They made a transportation budget and if they get called out they can't go. Make a federal budget or this economy is going down.

When agents signed on, the shift differential bonus was part of their salary to be considered in the package. Now, even though the Continuing Resolution has allocated funds to cover this, the CBP has decided to continue with the pay cut. Why?

it is amazing how the President goes on spring break and vaction every month but we can"t pay the professionals that guard our borders!? I am a Marine and I think that these men are more then important then the military is sometimes. We can pay for the foodstamps for the children that live in Mexico but we can't pay our bordor patrol agents! They will need foodsatmps soon! This crazy and needs to be stopped!

Now, even though the Continuing Resolution has allocated funds to cover this, the CBP has decided to continue with the pay cut. Why? And why should the agents who put their lives on the line be forced to absorb 75% of the cuts while ICE and top CBP staff keep 100% of their salaries? Something doesn't smell right.

What is wrong with our government? You don't have to be rocket scientist to see that cutting pay and hours of the men and women that protect our borders is just plain STUPID!!!!!!
