These men & women deal with danger & extremely high stress, this is no way to treat such an important part of our national security! Who would be able to face a pay cut of this magnitude? I say the bureaucrats who sit in their cushy offices with pay & benefits most would love to have take a pay cut of this size & see how fast they figure out a way to better operate. How are they supposed give 100% at work while they now have to think about how they are going to pay their bills, mortgages, feed their families? Would you want this to happen to you? It is outrageous that these cuts will be made to the men and women risking their lives for our nations security. I am appalled at this administration?s--and all leaders on both sides--complete lack of regard for these agents. First, mandating an increase in the hours of a work shift (8hrs-10hrs) and now making these ludicrous cuts. It is not only wrong, but it is un-American. Our men and women in uniform, who protect our borders, should be supplemented for their work and sacrifice. In addition, special operations groups in the Border Patrol need extra supplementation, as they are on call 24/7 to meet the crises that arsis within--and on--America?s borders. Action must be taken and all parties must come to an agreement to support our Border Patrol; or America will be left unprotected and vulnerable.REPORT COMMENTS
