My dad is a retired BPA, my husband is a current BPA. My whole life I have been witness to the hard work, long hours, and dangers that the men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol endure. To cut their pay would not only be unfair, but also unsafe. For 23 years, my father put his life on the line and came home exhausted and occasionally injured. For the past 7 years, my husband has been doing the same. They have both lost friends and co-workers in the line of duty. To even think that these men and women are not worth the money we pay them is a ridiculous notion. They protect us, they protect our country and they do not deserve to have their pay cut. If we are so desperate to find places to cut, SECURITY should NEVER be the first thing to go.REPORT COMMENTS
