Cutting Border Patrol budget is the same as asking people to take the lockes off their doors. Lockes detour illegal entry into our homes. Border Patrol detour illegal entry into our counrty. Really, are you that studip? Cut Border Patrol pay afater you take the locks off your doors.

My dad is a retired BPA, my husband is a current BPA. My whole life I have been witness to the hard work, long hours, and dangers that the men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol endure. To cut their pay would not only be unfair, but also unsafe. For 23 years, my father put his life on the line and came home exhausted and occasionally injured. For the past 7 years, my husband has been doing the same. They have both lost friends and co-workers in the line of duty. To even think that these men and women are not worth the money we pay them is a ridiculous notion. They protect us, they protect our country and they do not deserve to have their pay cut. If we are so desperate to find places to cut, SECURITY should NEVER be the first thing to go.

The Border Patrol are important to our National Security.Cutting there pay is an insult, and a serious injustice. These people risk their lives for this country.Being asked to shoulder 75% of the cuts is discriminatory. If any one needs a pay cut its our congress and senate for the job they have not done for the American people. We cannot as a nation stand for such neglect when it comes to protecting the nation's borders from terrorist or anyone who wants to harm this country and the people of the United States of America.

Cutting pay by this great of amount will put these Agents into debt or even living paycheck to paycheck. How are they expected to support their families?

We are supposed to me the first line of defense and then we are mocked and spit on with a possible 40% pay cut! I suppose those on welfare, people collecting food stamps, and those getting free cell phones are more inportant than us middle class nobodys.
