The west has never been able to grasp what islam is.... Islam,unlike christianity or say buddhism,is a profoundly LEGISLATIVE religion.(more of a legislation than a religion)..it contains all the laws necessary to run a society...i.e. no need for democracy..it was designed to bring law and order to the arabian peninsula in the 7 th century.... Now,the problem is that ,those laws according to muslims, come from "allah"....therefore "sacred".hence non negotiable... from a western point of view.. those laws are really a reflection of 7th century customs and traditions and not compatible with a 21 st century civil democracy...islam has no place in the west... here we live in the 21 st century.. not 7thSep 23rd, 2015Someone from Tracy, CA signed.
