Our men and women in harm's way deserve the utmost respect and honor we may convey on them. Finding the true cause of this Marine's death is the way to show that. I thought that no Marine was ever left behind. This is what you are doing if this is not resolved with an official investigation. Obviously this issue is effecting this military family mentally. There is no peace of mind. One can not clearly be mentally stable with questions of their spouses death being unanswered and ignored. I am a social work student, and fundamental to social work is attention to the environmental forces that create, contribute to, and address problems in living. This family has already had to face how to deal with deployment, the soldier returning home and adjusting, abscence of a father/spouse, and many other issues. The military has made it very clear that they are in dire need of social workers who are qualified to handle the needs of soldiers and their families. Well why create more problems, when you can help them deal with this issue. This wife only wants closure, and to help her through this, all that has to be done is a proper investigation. I'm sure that is not to much to ask of a family who has sacrificed so much for this wonderful country.REPORT COMMENTS
