It is an outrage and a slap in the face to all of us law abiding citizens that not even the courts can be trusted any longer to be impartial. Those that accept bribes should all be prosecuted and convicted because only then will the rule of law be truly restored.Legal immunity should be given to all those that speak out and expose corruption and wrong doing regardless of whether it concerns the CIA,the FBI or the president himself.

We cannot allow law abiding citizens to be stripped of a RIGHT that was bestowed upon us by our founding fathers. The right to bear arms is not a privilege like they seem to think it is. It is there for a number of extremely important reason and should not be revoked due to a few isolated incidences in the grand scheme of the world.

What we need is for a REALLY GOOD Constitutional attorney to figure out HOW "We the people" can bypass congress and get a binding referendum and get term limits on the ballot for the next election. Then everybody could be tossed out of Wash,DC on the collective asses. Then they can go home and get real jobs just like everyone else in this Great countryAlso they need to be prevented from becoming lobbyists sooner than 10 yrs after they leave office. As far as guns go they can have mine "ONE BULLET AT A TIME" .

I am concerned about the direction the gun control debate has taken. Please help me understand the answers to the following questions: I am aware that there has been no Senate confirmation of a permanent Director for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms throughout all the years of the current Administration (and even before!). With the President?s party in control of the Senate, why hasn?t that happened? Has the President not proposed anyone, or has the Senate not liked his choices? It makes it seem like gun control was not that important to anyone if the agency in charge of it is neglected. I am also aware that the ATF Form 4473 is required to purchase a firearm from a dealer and that lying on the form is a felony possible punishable by several years in jail. The form is designed to deny gun purchases to convicted felons, wanted fugitives, mentally ill persons, people with domestic violence convictions or current orders of protection, because these are the people most likely to be dangerous. Government sponsored reports indicate that in 2010 more than 76,000 cases of denial for those reasons were identified. Yet only 3% were ever even referred to ATF Field Offices resulting in only 62 prosecutions and 13 convictions! It came to my attention that Vice President Biden, who obviously is a gun control advocate stated recently that the ATF does not have the time or manpower to check all these forms. That means that many, many potentially dangerous people are walking around with firearms. Again, help me understand the problem with the ATF. Why are they unable to do the checking? It seems to me that it would be most important to see to it that the ATF enforced those existing laws. Maybe it would lessen the incidence of gun violence. We already have the tools, why are they not being used? I would also like to know how Ms Naplitano can order 7,000 Self Defense Weapons (M16/M4's with select fire - MEANING MORE THAN 1 ROUND AT A TIME). Also, Please explain why the same office has ordered 525 million rounds of hollow point .40 cal ammo. That is enough to kill every AMERICAN 10x!! What has the government got planned and what are YOU doing about it??? I hope that someone in your office can give me substantive answers to these basic, even vital questions, and that you and your colleagues in the Senate will take action to see that existing a statutes are more than minimally enforced before enacting more legislation simply for the political splash it will make. We need more steak, less sizzle. As the old commercial went, ?Where?s the Beef!? GOD Bless America, and the Constitution, we also give thanks for the BILL of Rights (which Congress ignores continously). Thank you for your prompt attention.
