I am a Type 2 Diabetic and take 4 shots a day for the rest of my life. So do the math and most of my FSA goes to insulin. And because of the advancing of my diabetes it is getting harder on me to keep working 50 to 60 hours per week just to pay for my insulin. Thank youSep 24th, 2016Someone from Richmond, VA signed.

My basic human right to live should not be mandated by financial benefit. Every day I am thankful to live in a world in which insulin exists -- lower insulin costs so every diabetic has an equal opportunity to life.REPORT COMMENTS

I struggle to afford the life giving insulin I take each day while pharmaceutical CEOs take home billion dollar bonuses and insurance companies charge higher and higher premiums while covering less and less. Only in America would profits and bottom lines outweigh the health and well being of hard working citizens.REPORT COMMENTS

Insulin costs are outrageous. Without Insulin my Type I daughter will die. Insurance premiums, Insulin, test strips, Insulin Pump, Glucose Monitors, doctor visits, lab tests. The cost of staying alive with Type I diabetes should not bankrupt patients and families. The complications of not taking control of this disease are debilitating. What are patients and families to do ? We need help!! We need people to stand up for our children !! Stop the rising costs of these life sustaining medications!!REPORT COMMENTS

My 6 year old son has Type 1 Diabetes. He was diagnosed at age 1. Insulin is not a choice; without it he will not survive. Without the proper amounts, he faces the realities of life-threatening or life-shortening complications. Everyone with diabetes deserves affordable access to insulin. Patients, along with their doctors, should have the right to choose which insulin works best for them. Access to insulin isn't just health care; it is life support. Thank you for your consideration of this petition!REPORT COMMENTS
