my cousin suffers from this. She has to get a loan to have surgery because her ins will not cover the treatment. So many others out there suffer. Something needs to be done. -

We need a cure - this disease is awful. How would you feel if you woke up one day and could no longer eat foods you love? What is that no food impact with work, friends, family? we need to find a cure or more help or something because I've been diagnosed for last 10 years all I'm doing is getting worse and having other problems I have a beautiful 8 year old daughter that's my life and I can't deal with her seeing me so sick and in pain it has gotten so bad that I'm in the ER almost every month I cant work I can't do anything and it's making my life miserable more and more and I honestly don't know what to do I tried to file for disability they told me that gastroparesis is not in the little blue book for disabi so I feel that we need to get this worked out more and to let the state recognize it that it is a serious problem for us that have it we need to stick together and get awareness out thereso maybe someday in the future they will have a cure or better medicine or something to treat irREPORT COMMENTS

I Have been dealing with gastroparesis for 8 years it is an every day battle. it would be wonderful to live one day normal not getting sick and to be able to hold food down. not many people know about this and there is not much you can really do there really needs to awareness to let people know about this please help find a cure and spread awareness!REPORT COMMENTS
