Nation with being the target of a Canadian hemp seed company. With Kentucky's unofficial reputation for growing great cannabis, who could blame them. Why can we compete with the reputation of California in the same way we do in both thoroughbred racing and wine. Most of there far out ways started in Kentucky. We are the #1 of the states being considered. This could provide revenue in numerous ways in our region. On a medical note: As a parent with asthma a spouse with intense anxiety/ bpd having a child with autism, I've seen the effects of many much more dangerous drugs come from my and my child's Dr. that have horrible effects, much more addictive, and far more debilitating. I have no doubt that cannabis would be safer and more helpful than any of the popular pharmaceuticals. Opiates (heroin) among other bad drugs have been fed to people by the medical industry instead. Kentucky's pill problem is a far greater threat to society. Use the tax dollars from the war on cannabis and tax dollars spent taking care of incarcerated nonviolent marijuana offenders along with the new or should I say (reborn) industry of cannabis and put that $$$,$$$,$$$ to good use. I live with chronic knee pain and arthritis in my lower back. I would prefer to smoke marijuana than to take tramadol which is a mild narcotic. nowadays doctors are too quick to push pills when they could prescribe this instead.REPORT COMMENTS

I have a card in another state. I think it's retarded how many people in this state are addicted to pain medicine when people could using marijuana but no instead you got doctors prescribing Percocets Vicodin any other pain medicine instead of possibly prescribed marijuana for chronic pain... I live in pain everyday and in fear of getting trouble if I do smoke my Medicine... It will help people and possibly get rid of some of the other drug problems... I have IBS and other stomach issues. When in Colorado, I used Medical marijuana and it helped with my symptoms of nausea and severe abdominal cramping, etc. There is no medicine available in Ky. for my symptoms. I only wish for allowing me treatment from a disease which isn't understood so i can function in society without pain.REPORT COMMENTS

i have scoliosis and i cannot take pain pills for it. it makes me so sick to my stomach and i wind up throwing up or dry heaving. medical marijuana needs to be legalized. i also have depression and i am supposed to take meds for that but i did not like the way it makes me feel so please legalize this amazing drug so i can be pain free.REPORT COMMENTS
