Do those in power not understand the reason so many people are unemployed. Its called the American dream for a reason. Someone needs to stand up, stand out, be bold and do something now.

Personally I feel betrayed by our leaders who approved these agreements. These groups, organizations and agreements were not approved by the people of the USA. All the seafood, produce and practically all other items bought by American consumers are from overseas! I do not want to feed my family fish from China, El Salvador and Argentina. Why is the majority of our food imported from these countries? What happened to American Fisheries, farmers and livestock? All the major food chains such as Wal-Mart and Food Lion are filling their shelves and freezers with imported food that we as consumers do not want. They can import it for less money thus increasing their profit while we have to pay not only with our hard earned money but our health! The jobs that have been lost in America shows we have been sold out for a profit against our own will by our own leaders! This needs to stop.

It is about time we brought the jobs lost in this country by foreign trading back to this country to reinstall the way of life that the American people have worked so hard for since our forefathers founded this great nation.

Due to outrageous, unregulated insurance corporations, and these trade agreements mentioned in the petition, I have bounced around from job to job, via so called employment service companies whom potential full time employers use to keep from paying benefits. What about the fair wages? These jobs are classified as temporary to get around the fair labor laws, but being in a position at a lesser rate of pay and no benefits is not a temporary job. Neither is it temporary when you employ for a nine month period only to lay off and immediately fill the position with another "temporary" employ, year after year. I have become a full time temporary.

The economy is getting better? Why don't they (congress) ask middle America as there are 14 people in my neighborhood in foreclosure and/or unemployed.

S&P just downgraded the US debt outlook to negative. This is because home prices have remained weak and unemployment elevated. Repealing NAFTA, GATT and CAFTA and creating incentives for corporations to create millions of American manufacturing jobs would allow more people to buy houses, pay taxes and resolve our financial problems.

The United States of America under its U.S. Constitution is a republican democracy the existence of which is based solely on the consent of the governed. The so called 'treaties' (which they are NOT) by certain members of Congress and certain Presidents committed the United States without the vote or consent of her people to create and become full members in NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA. In doing so they bypassed the democratic process and have done so without the support or participation by the people of the United States of America and have done so only by the elite financial sector whose interests contravene those of a republican democracy. By all accounts, the United States of America must withdraw immediately from the above referenced so called 'trade agreements' of which the people have never, ever agreed and which indeed have resulted to the undermining and great destruction of the tranquility and prosperity of the people of this great nation and have destroyed the fabric of our nation. I will support any candidate for any office whose number one act will be to withdraw this nation from these anti U.S. organizations.
