I adopted my "Lion" who was found hanging by a noose in a gang run dog meat slaughterhouse in China. She had been electrocuted and shot multiple times and still has 7 to 9 pellets still lodged inside of her. She had deep embedded scars around the base of her tail and around her back legs where I suspect they tied ropes to hang her with. Lion suffers daily from severe nightmares from her torture and abuse. No animal EVER should have to suffer like this!!! She has PTSD and may awake suddenly out of a sound sleep with high distress as if fighting off her attackers. I feel her pain and see what she goes through. Aside from her nightmares which she has no control over, she is the most loving and sweetest Chow Chow ever. She spent 64 days in critical care at The International Center For Veterinary Services in Beijing, China, where she nearly died twice. She became and American citizen on December 3, 2015. Thanks to Marc Ching with The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation who went to China and literally saved Lion's life and others, she is a survivor and is here to ROOOOAAAARRRR on behalf of those left behind. Please follow Marc Ching and his efforts to end the dog and cat meat trade. He is located in Sherman Oaks, CA, and is on Facebook. He has made several trips overseas to the Far East and has documented footage and evidence of behind the scenes in dog meat slaughterhouses and dog meat farms where dogs are horrifically tortured, eyes removed while alive, boiled alive, drowned alive, etc. He has the evidence you need to show the brutality of what actually goes on to these innocent animals. He is leaving in the next few days to go to the Yulin Festival as well as to other Far Eastern countries where he hopes to rescue and save 100 dogs or more from slaughter.
