WE THE MOTHERS IN THE STATE OF MISOURI DEMAND THE INVESTIGATION OF COURT OFFICIALS, CHILDRENS DIVISION AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS THAT FAILED TO PROPERLY INVESTIGATE AND PROSECUTE THOSE WHO ABUSED OUR CHILDREN AND DENIED US OUR CONSTITUTIONAL R

OUR CHILDREN DESERVE TO BE HEARD AND NEED TO BE PROTECTED FROM ABUSE

From: Maria Samples, a mother in St Louis County:

I am just one of thousands of mothers who have had their child taken away, after going to the police, DFS and the courts trying to keep him safe after he reported his father was sexually abusing him. My son was questioned ?My son was found credible?, then why does he cry himself to sleep every night, longing for his mother and his brother?. Please help me save my son and help all the other abused children who are right now without their mothers, their only protectors and who have to endure the abuse by their fathers.

My younger son?s name is Alexander; he is 11 years old, he was diagnosed with Autism/Aspergers, ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory Integration disorder and Dysgraphia. Alexander tried to take his life this Christmas to avoid going to his father?s house and avoid more sexual abuse. During the last 2 years Alexander has been reporting his father is sexually abusing him. He has told his doctors and teachers but no one in law enforcement, DFS, no one at the prosecuting attorney?s office or in the courts has tried to help Alexander.

Alexander has made 20 plus reports to mandatory reporters while under the custody of his father. The police department finally sent Alexander to a forensic evaluation at the Child Advocacy Center and he was evaluated by the Manager of the Forensic Investigations team, who is experienced in sexual abuse evaluations and works with the prosecuting attorney?s office. I never saw the report and the case was closed a month later, because I was told there was not enough evidence for prosecution. But, Alexander continued to report sexual abuse for 2 more years hoping he would be heard, until he could not take it anymore and he tried to take his life last Christmas on the way to his fathers.

The prosecuting attorney?s office has done nothing and until earlier this year I had no idea what the Forensic report said nor what information the doctor?s records contained. Earlier this year we subpoenaed the police records and within these records we unknowingly and unexpectedly received my son?s forensic report by the CAC It had been sent to the prosecuting attorney?s office here in St Louis County and had been ignored.

I took this report to clinical psychologists Dr. Rosen and Dr. Yunker and after reviewing it they claim they are convinced Alexander is telling the truth and is talking from firsthand experience of the sexual abuse done to him by his father. They are willing to testify as to their findings in a court of law as soon as the prosecuting attorney?s office starts protecting Alexander and opens a case. The Doctors have on numerous occasions called and left their number with the local police department and the prosecuting attorney?s office but no one has returned their calls.

The forensic report (below) and many affidavits from Alexander's doctors stated my son is in danger and must be removed from his father?s household. Dr. Rosen believes my son
