Vote NO on H.R. 7024

This bill barely scratches the surface of helping Americans while making politicians out to be altruistic. This bill is cutting a crucial credit for small business that billions of dollars were set aside for, yet are being squandered elsewhere and NOT given to the American people. A boost of $200 per child for the ACTC is an absolute joke. Meanwhile cutting small business owners to get the help they deserve, but weren’t aware of during a time of unprecedented peril. Many businesses are still recovering from the pandemic and many had to close their doors when the credit for employee taxes could’ve kept them afloat. Despite being built into the Cares Act, millions of businesses had no idea they were eligible for the Employee Retention Credit and millions more will go unfunded because you are closing the doors 15 months early! That money goes back into the economy to stimulate small business and help child poverty. Claiming H.R. 7024 is about helping American families while taking small business over the coals is deplorable.
