I never would have expected President Obama to sign such a bill into law. I am normally 100% behind this President. This is a grave infringement on our rights.REPORT COMMENTS

I oppose any legislation or executive order which directly betrays the soul of our constitution - the bill of rights. The dangerous ambiguity of this bill could, in the wrong hands, leave the power of the executive branch open to deny habeus corpus to any person they deem as a threat to national security. Indefinitely incarcerated without protective rights sounds like just the thing our government should be able to do to 'protect us', right? How did this bill make it through our Congress and the President? Amazing how this had no traction in mainstream news. NDAA signed by Obama on Dec. 31, 2011 while everyone prepared for the holiday. Very sneaky... Thankfully there are enough people privy to this farce to take action against it. God bless the republic.REPORT COMMENTS
