United States Post Office 5 Day Delivery

Save The United States Post Office

This is to urge Congress to support The United States Post Office in going to five day delivery and reducing operating loss.

Senior citizens, rural customers, and rural mail carriers would not be harmed in this reduction. Post offices would still be open on Saturday to allow customers to mail letters, purchase products, and access post office boxes. Processing plants will maintain weekend processing hours. Trucks and airplanes will continue to transport mail across the country. Mail carriers will use the same options of delivering mail that is in practice now Monday through Friday. Saturday delivery will be omitted.

Reducing mail delivery to five days will save The United States Post Office $3.1 billion annually for future generations.
