Unfair Child Custody/Visitation laws

When a man and a women lay together and a child is born, it takes two. If for some reason down the line the relationship between the man and the woman does not work out, well it still takes two..right? But that isn't the case. What happens is this; Hey mom, here's the baby that you and dad created. Hey dad, see you next Saturday..It's unbelievably one-sided.

Father's have just as much right to spend time with the child as the mother does. The illusion that a mother can nurture and love a child more than a father can is ridiculous. I am not entitled to any less of my child's time just because it did not work out with his mother. It should still be 50/50.

Here's what should be done in cases where the mother and father have a child, but are not together anymore, and living in the same City/State. (Other's can be adjusted on a case by case)
1. Visitation will be 50/50 week on/off with SHARED custody. There is no need for a primary since it took both parents to have the child.
2. Child support will be calculated based off of GROSS income, not Net income.

Try this method and watch how drastically things will change with absent fathers and the prison system. Fewer men will be incarcerated due to their inability to pay a ridiculous amount of support. Fathers will also be able to play a more vital role in the development and upbringing of the child.
