U.S. SENATE: ALLOW THE SUBPOENAS OF RELEVANT WITNESSES AND DOCUMENTS!
Article 1, Section 1 of the United States Constitution gives the House of Representatives the sole power to impeach.
To suggest that the House is given the power to impeach and not granted the power to also compel witnesses to testify and obtain requested documents relevant to the impeachment investigation is absurd.
Yet President Trump, again and again, has blocked requested important witnesses from the investigation and has blocked subpoenaed documents in his own trial of misconduct.
Now the U.S. Senate Republicans are joining the President by refusing to let the American people know the truth by tabling any amendment to produce witnesses and documents germane to the trial.
We the people, in order to ensure a fair trial, with access to all relevant witnesses and documents available that are necessary to reaching a fair verdict, demand that all Senators vote to ensure these individuals are heard and documents are produced in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.
