Treat Private Student Loans As Other Unsecured Debt

I would like to petition Congress to address the growing problem in the United States of Private Student Loan Debt. Private lenders have no motivation to negotiate with borrowers to come to an affordable repayment plan. Why should they? They are protected by our Government in the form of Bankruptcy Court. Treat these Private Student Loan companies the same as other loans. As it stands now the only option is to file an adversary proceeding in Bankruptcy Court and pass the current Brunner Test. Which is almost impossible to pass. ACT now Congress and help these students and their families!!
