To officially recognize in the line of duty deaths of Law Enforcement Officers

As an American and a tax payer the public has a right to know when an Officer gives their life.

To officially recognize in the line of duty deaths of Law Enforcement Officers and make such recognition public by way of media release and placed in the record of the official proceedings in both the Senate and House.

As we approach Christmas 2014, 110 police officers have been killed in the line of duty this year. The average American is unaware of the number of Officers that give their lives every year to keep Americans safe. They often only hear the negative side of Law Enforcement through the main stream media. As an American and a tax payer the public has a right to know when an Officer gives their life.
