Time for Action: Tell Congress to Change Policing Standards
We ask Congress to use its authority to direct federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to develop and implement comprehensive personnel training standards to curtail the use of excessive force and stop the brutality. Congress and the administration must help alleviate the situation now. We demand change from our leaders. Excess force by police directed at people of color has led to shameful loss of life. It must stop.
