The Constitution Must Be Upheld
The government has been abusing authority not granted in the Constitution
The people of these United States are tired of being pushed around by uncostitutional legislation. The Founding Fathers of this nation gave the government enumerated powers, and the government has been taking too much liberty in what they believe is within their scope.
We the people are asking for immediate repeal of the following legislation and defunding of listed organizations:
* CISPA (violation of 4th Amendment)
* NDAA Indefinite detention (violation of 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments)
* Affordable Care Act (Article 1 Section 7 violation) Supreme Court ruled "Obamacare" a tax. Taxes must originate in the House, not Senate.
* Department of Homeland Security (Failure to operate in the best interest of the nation)
* Transportation Security Administration (Failure to abide by the 4th Amendment)
* Department of Education (Not listed as governmental power in Constitution)
* Department of Energy (Failure of original intent to reduce dependance on foreign source)
This is the tip of the iceberg of what the people want. Failure to act on behalf of the American people will result in your removal from office.
