The Collective Initiative Petition to declare North Birmingham Elementary School a historic landmark
This will help one of the top elementary schools in the nation avoid being closed and merged.
This is our plea that this school be considered for a historical landmark. It has been around for over a hundred years and needs to continue to giving quality education to its community. It was rated one of the top schools in the nation last year in the Average Yearly Progress Poll. North Birmingham Elementary earned a $300,000 grant from VH1 and Is a distinguished Torch Bearer School. Please save our school and give it an opportunity to continue building our the future of our community.
