The Birth of Slave Labor, Rise of Slave masters in the form of H1b, H4-EAD, and Edge of Extinction of Engineering for Americans,
This is the report from the front lines, an American Engineer, who is trying to keep on working and a earn a living.
Companies exploit American system mercilessly. It will showcase, that this country is not short of Engineering professionals in IT, but, what U.S is short of, are Engineering Slaves.
Rise of the Slave masters
Many companies as a way of cost cutting promote H1b and H4-EAD of Indian origin to squeeze out the most from the workers. Engineering is a very selected and endowed professionals in science, hence the cost of labor is going to be high for such premium talent. However, the cost differs from country to country by various factors such as cost of education, strength of the degree programs and also by the cost of living of a country. But what companies are looking for is to get the cheapest labor from any country and also to squeeze and increase the number of working hours instead of a regular forty hour week, thereby reducing the cost by forcing the engineers to slave labor and also depriving the American workers who have the best talent but would not agree to slave labor for meager pay. Therefore, empower the foreign nationals to create Slave masters who will unscrupulously squeeze out what companies could achieve by slave labor and be able manipulate the system and save money for the company. Once the indigenous population is wiped out, they have enough slaves to be able dictate their labor policies unchallenged. Subsequently, the slave masters will rise the ranks and will become behemoth of the organization they are serving. It does not take talent to achieve pinnacle in any of these software power houses. They are promoted and set up to manage, despite their lack of skills in leadership or in IT. But they are very highly skilled and ruthless to smother and intimidate IT slaves. They have formed an elaborate scheme and a formidable force how to hire, retain, cheat, intimidate and motivate the slaves in house, and offshore. Hence you see more and more software giants appointing these former slave masters to their top executive positions. Very good examples are Google and Microsoft. How do you think Sundar Pichai and Sathya Nadella are heading the companies they were never part of creating except joined at a point when these behemoths needed cheap labor or even worse slave labor?
This is how they execute the slave labor plan. Their first ploy is to get rid of as many American IT workers as possible. And then hire H1Bs, EADs, some are even illegal visa holders, with every variation including OPTs who pretend they are on H1Bs. To retain these formidable round the clock slave laborlores, the companies are very generous when it comes to issuing bogus Client letters to extend their stay even if their projects lasts only minute fraction of the time. These tactics give them the venue to retain the slaves as long as they want, and the slaves don’t have much option, but to work any number of hours, or any time available. (Also known as High availability employees, an IT term that is usually given to Systems that are up all the time, FYI to all the IT neophytes). Hence, if you do an audit you will be enlightened how many creative ways the companies have devised to cheat the system by false client letters.
Anyway, if you find any good old American worker still sticking around making some noise, and who hasn’t quit working yet, they will find a way to get rid of that one. But companies Slave masters will ensure sure that proper training and knowledge transfer is done to the incoming H1B and OPT slaves.
Merciless Offshoring without any repercussions or Tariffs
Ok, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Now that the American Engineer is left without a job, why not to screw the rest of the Americans who can’t find Engineering jobs. Therefore, the way companies do business is to offshore as much work as possible to India. Since they don’t want to be seen offshoring directly, they use proxies. Use American registered outsourcing companies who does the offshoring the work to India, that way the companies can look good, since they have given their contract to other Indian company registered in America. If you follow the money trail, you will understand how this system works.IT services make it so easy to import services without any consequences. If we are fighting to add Tariffs to imported goods, what about services? Is it ok to wipe out the local service industry with dumping from cheaper countries?
The American companies’ greed has gone over their head. Although, they sell their services to American consumers, and get benefit from local population, but very happy to deprive them of sharing the profits to same consumers by not giving them opportunity to earn a decent living. We don’t understand, why should they be allowed to operate in U.S.A. Shouldn’t they be stripped off doing business in this country? Shouldn’t they re-locate to India where they can employ Indians, and then sell them their services from whom they are benefiting? May be, that will force them to pay Tariffs if they want to export goods or services to U.S.A so that they can compete legally, just like any other company.
Maybe we should start a campaign to boycott American companies who offshores their work and import Engineering slaves.
Indian Contribution to Science, or Technology
Ok, some argue that there is so much more talent in India that we don’t have in America. Let’s explore how true it is.
Indian population have been in existence for at least past 5,000 years. America is about 500 years old. However, India is a third world, and America is a first world. Let’s focus on what is India’s contribution to science, or inventions. There is none, other than Taj Mahal. On the other hand, as far as American contribution to science and technology, I don’t even know where to begin. This is a country of inventors. If the subject is too broad, let us be specific and focus only on IT. Please let me know, for all the talent they are touting they possess, what has India has invented in IT that is used by others, I can’t even think of one. But it seems like almost all inventions as far as IT field is coming from America. However, there are much smaller nations that are producing World class software applications and products, however there is virtually none coming out of India other than cheap labor or even worse, slave labor. They are just copy machines, sub-standard engineers who live on others glory. I haven’t come across a single creative software developer who is an Indian so far in my long career. Only the ones who copy others or mediocre developers. More like bottom feeders. Do you know any high-tech products that says Made in India? Any software, or any electronics equipment. Because, there is none. Yes, but I do have some pieces of rag and towels that says Made in India. Oh, did I forget to mention some curry powder from India. It’s funny even the Bollywood copies Hollywood mercilessly.
The prediction is that India will never be a first world. But India will bring U.S.A to the level of third world if this trend continues. Since engineering inventions that keeps us in the high quality in products and services and in quality of life, there won’t be any more American Engineers at this rate. Only Indian Engineering Slaves. You can see this trend by the rise of Slave masters rising to the top positions in companies that they never created. Besides, I don’t see I or any engineer who I know, want their kids to go into Engineering as their career path. We know the struggles and despair we are facing, and we don’t want our kids to go through the same. Hence, come the death of Engineering in this country. That is why you see almost every institution you’re seeing high decrease in American’s pursuing Engineering degrees. It’s a shame, today you might be a high-powered politician, businessman or even a CEO of company. But down the line someone in your family will have aspiration to be engineers, the elite of the professionals, but will not have a chance in this Country, because he or she will not be able to have decent living with what America has become.
Indian IT fraud
Now it brings the question of how an American Engineer survive this onslaught and still expect to fruit all the efforts one has put in to obtain an Engineering degree, spent countless hours upgrading ones knowledge and skills in an ever changing environment of engineering, and still have a life, an dignity competing with imported slaves and outsourced slaves.
If you don’t stop H1B, and EAD completely you can kiss Engineering professionals this country goodbye. They are almost dead already. It’s a matter of short time before going over the edge. This is exactly the reason no one want to do Science and Engineering Majors in this country. No reward for effort because of Indian invasion. Just because the raise in wages does not translate to higher wages, because if you divide your compensation by the number of hours of work, it comes close to minimum wage.
On top of this debacle, there is more from Indians. They have formed companies and alliance to deprive American jobs. They have formed recruiting companies who sponsor H1Bs and false OPTs to starve American jobs and good pay. They will only pick their H1Bs and OPTs and their own kind, even when employers try to hire Americans. Also, the H1Bs have formed alliance among themselves to systematically fail qualified Americans from getting picked in interviews and prevent them from getting gainful employment. They have a clandestine network to hire their spouses who are on H4 EADs who have no experience or qualification to do the job. The fraud and discrimination that is going on by Indian IT influence in America is mind boggling. They are importing the culture of unethical, discriminatory, and fraudulence to America, which will be another reason that U.S will become a third world soon. It starts from the bottom, and when there are enough numbers it will become a norm, and then the bottom will rise to the top and the leadership will dictate the culture and U.S will implode and will start descending towards abyss. Pretty soon, you won’t even know if you are in Chennai or in D.C. because D.C will look like Chennai. I know we are not opposed to good cultural values being practiced but the not the evil ones.

Mortem to American Professionals and the finale
Dear President, tell us how are we supposed to survive? We are squeezed from every angle. Slave labor, low pay, and rampant fraud. On top of that merciless non tariffed import of IT services. We don’t have a country to go back to. At least Indian’s have an option to go back to their country.
If you think Abraham Lincoln fought a good hard battle to eliminate slavery and unfair labor, this is going to be even harder battle. But as an astute leader, we trust you will have vision to protect your people and make America great Again.
Abolish H1B, and EAD and impose Tariffs on Service Imports at least 25%. Strictly enforce no more than Forty hours of work for full time. For hourly wage folks, no pro-bono work. Furthermore, punish or revoke license to practice business on all the companies who are perpetrators of laws.
The bottom line is I am a software engineer over twenty years of software experience and architecture and there aren’t many things I can’t do, but have hard time keep employed in this field competing with Engineering slaves, Offshore work, widely practiced discrimination, and meager pay. How do you honestly think American engineering students who are graduating class going to survive this onslaught? What is going to be Engineering future for Americans? Either fold or you will need to rise against this injustice and turn back the clock.
