Take Bench Warrants As Serious As Arrest Warrants On A National Scale

I am petitioning that bench warrants be taken as serious as arrest warrants on a national level, or even on a global scale would be nice. It's apparent that arrest warrants seem to get more attention and action drawn to them than bench warrants. While I'm highly aware that bench warrants don't expire, the individual who was served with a bench warrant basically has to be stopped during a traffic stop or committing another criminal offense to be dealt with, especially if the individual won't go attempt to take care of the warrant on their own, meaning it could be months, even years before that individual is dealt with. A warrant should be a warrant! All warrants should be executed in the manner. Just because it's not an arrest warrant wasn't issued doesn't mean that the matter at hand should be taken any less serious. If the issue at hand wasn't that serious no warrant would have been issued in the first place.

I've heard many people refer to Ohio as a motherhood state, I'd have to disagree. I've experienced firsthand that fathers are more favored than women, not that they're any better than us. If we as mothers, were to abandon our child/ren as many fathers do we'd automatically be arrested and charged with abandonment or negligence. Why does it take a bench warrant and waiting game for fathers of a child to be held responsible for such actions?

If there isn't a change, a lot of people (including myself) will be suffering with nothing but a hopeless feeling that a bench warrant just isn't taken seriously. I am an exhausted mother when it comes to hoping my child's father will have to take responsibility for his child. A bench warrant has seemed to have done us no good in my child's almost 3 years of existence! I just know there are many women like me, hoping for an arrest of a non-compliant individual. Many women like me, who are losing hope that one day something will change.

It's important that we take immediate action to start executing individuals on all warrants! A warrant is a warrant and should all be treated with some sort of action. If someone can be tracked down for an arrest warrant, why aren't we also tracking down these non-compliant & defiant individuals? Especially if it's an outstanding warrant. There should be a deadline on how long one can avoid dealing with an issued warrant. We the people, can not stand by & say this is a win for our government, children or the adults of America.
