Support for the state not the children
Childsupport payments being witheld for the state leaves children unsupported.
In Florida child support is being withhled from parents to pay off state balances, leaving children unsupported. The government should set limits and stipulations on when and how welfare should be paid back. The money is being withheld from parents not currently receiving welfare or child support payments. Please support this petition in order to ensure that child support enforcement focuses on supporting the children first before the state. I received cash years ago and my child's father does not consistently pay court order payments but files for a tax return every year. The tax return is is not paid to me but paid to the state even when the non custodial parent does not pay their monthly obligation as ordered.
