Subpoena the IT staff under the IRS Lois Lerner
The IRS forces the US Citizen to provide 3-5 years of financial data and anything pertaining to an audit, if one should arise. We the people want to know who administrates this email system that apparently lost emails that are even stored ON the servers email platform information store. I used to be the Administrator on a email team for a GLOBAL company and we never once "lost" ANY emails, especially if they were on a LEGAL HOLD due to an investigation. I have been in the IT industry for over 26 years and find this appalling at the lack of control over a Government IT system.
If we're supposed to go by certain guidelines on record keeping and archiving, the Government should be able to perform the same duty and I urge you to subpoena the entire IT staff that is involved with administrating the IRS eMail platform and stop relying on the "upper management" to provide rehearsed replies and false oaths.
