This is the email I sent to State Rep Cheryl Rivera after she crossed the picket line at the Riverdale Road Verizon Wireless in West Springfield, MA. and proceeded to tell our union members, that their vote didn't matter to her because they most likely weren't Springfield residents. She was also spotted in a nail salon shortly after boasting about it......... I am not a resident of you district, but I do have friends and family members who are. I am advising you this message has reach MD, VA and DC. The idea that you are chair for the Labor Workforce Development Joint Committee, is disgusting.. You mentioned your father was a Union member, shame on you, you know better. There is highly publicized coverage of this bargaining disagreement between the Union and Verizon. Then to also read you were in a Nail Salon boasting your comment, UNPROFESSIONAL.. NOT TO MENTION THE COST OF MY HEALTHCARE WHILE ON STRIKE WITH THE BENENFITS. COBRA IS BEING OFFERED BUT THEY WOULD LIKE US TO PAY 100% UP FRONT .. FOR ME THAT WOULD BE APROXIMATELY 7647.00!!
