Stop Trying to Defund and Repeal Obamacare

Messages Sent So Far
Obamacare was passed by both chambers of Congress, signed into law by the President, and subsequently upheld in the United States Supreme Court when challenged by conservatives. Conservative and Tea Party members of Congress have wasted over $50 million dollars of hard working Americans' tax dollars--in a very depressed economy--holding pointless votes that they know will fail, in order to defund, delay, or repeal Obamacare. How many children could we have helped with that $50+ million? How many schools could we have funded? How many bridges could we have fixed? Further, these members of Congress perpetuate the lie that Obamacare will raise the deficit, when numerous reputable studies have shown it will have the opposite effect. We call on these members to stop this immature and senseless charade, stop spending our tax dollars on something they know will fail, and get on with doing the jobs we elected them to do.

I live in an area where there are a lot of working poor and homeless people. Some say the government doesn't have responsibility to these people; but I disagree the government is for the people and any action taken that hurts these people is an attack on our country! It's seemingly like a terrorist attack from the rich on the poor? I'm scared.

Shame on the GOP an Senators RYan and McConnell for being hellbent to erase President Obama's legacy with ACA. If they can replace it with something better, then fine, but so far they have nothing. Show you care about the American people, ALL American people and stop this nonsense now. Keep it up and you will ALL be voted out of office.

Millions of people will go without medical insurance. I am one of them! I am 63 years old, worked since I was 15. I am an educated woman, but my employer does not provide medical coverage. I cannot afford insurance and pay living expenses on what I make. I'm willing to pay for insurance, but not at the expense of becoming homeless! At my age premiums are astronomical! Thank you.
