Stop Japan's release of nuclear contaminated water into the ocean

Japan started releasing radioactive wastewater at the Fukushima Daiichi plant into the Pacific Ocean earlier this month, despite the warnings from scientists that the long-term impacts on the ocean ecology and human health have not been known. Greenpeace firmly renounced the irresponsible dumping by Japan. It stated: The government is obligated under international law to conduct a comprehensive environmental impact assessment, including the impact of transboundary marine pollution, but has failed to do so. Its plans are a violation of the UN Convention Law of the Sea. Please stop this reckless behavior of the Japanese government immediately.
