Stop jail time for Child Support
Parents Should not have to go to jail for non payment
My message is simple, We the parents single or married fall behind on Child Support when were not working. Then we accumulated debt that's going to follow us until paid. Now the court can send us to prison where we accumulate more debt and fall more behind. A jail or prison sentence is no way to help the parent, how would they receive any payments while were in custody? Then in most cases the recipient of the child support is not always using the monies for the children. I Kevin Johnson a tax payer & Child Support payer asks you to please SUPPORT this position.
