Stop the inhumane treatment of farm animals
Animals are being inhumanely treated in the pursuit of monetary gain by meat and dairy companies. Its in our best interest to treat animals humanely if they are used for consumption for several reasons.
1. Its just plain wrong.
2. Consuming animals that have been tortured and confined is unhealthy for us humans.
3. God wants people to treat animals humanely and he makes that abundantly clear in the bible.
4. Even if you don't believe in religion, our ignorance to the unfair treatment and horrible conditions with which factory farm animals are subjected to, is making us complacent and willing participants in a torturous program.
5. Its bad for the environment. The factory farms are polluting the environment through the massive amounts of waste that are often times being dispersed into places that border small towns, thus directly affecting the health of the residents of those towns.
6. Too much power is being given to the big corporations while small time local farmers are going out of business.
