Stop the inhumane treatment of animals sent to slaughter.
Please stop the horrible treatment of farm animals.
This petition was made by my 12 year old daughter, but that doesn't make it any less important.
I was watching videos about what happens to cows, pigs, chickens and other animals that Americans eat on a daily basis and I was not happy. These poor creatures are tortured and abused. The chickens are stuffed in crates that are so full that they break their necks, they get their heads crushed in crate doors, they get frozen alive and if they make it to the plant, they get their wings cut off, dipped into boiling water and their feathers torn out, all while still living and feeling it. The cows and chickens and other animals get torn apart and cut into, while being alive. They feel it all and it makes me sad. If you really want to eat meat, I can;t stop you, but they don't have to feel so much pain for you to have dinner. They get scared too, imagine if somebody held you upside down and dipped you into boiling water, then cut off your arms then cut into your stomach, while you were alive with nothing to take the pain away. Would you want that? I don't think so. So please sign my petition to stop the suffering of these animals and help take their pain away.
