Stop the h.o.a. 's attorneys for suing the homeowners put a cap of 5,000 dollars on legal fees ,so to discourage them from stealing your property

Help people have no voice when it comes to home owners associations

I am current on my mortgage and my h.o.a. Is evicting me for 2,850 dollars.

The mortgage company has paid them a little over 31,000 dollars under my name.

The h.o.a. put a lien some say they foreclosed in 2011 just in July they served me with a notice to surrender property

Than in September a holdover for eviction purposes.

They want to throw me out in the cold.Oneof the board members wants permission to

speak with my mortgage company about paying the primary lien which is the mortgage, so as they throw me out they can take possession this is wrong on so many levels.

I am disabled and I have been here since 2002 this is one level. I bought this as part of a first time home buyer program. My son and I were homeless at the time .My son is grown and currently deployed in the navy. Please support the petition ,because if the h.o.a. have no financial gain

than they have to be civil and work things out with the homeowners .

Now it is that they admit no fault and they sue and you have to pay and if you don't come up with exactly the amount they want they put a lien on your home and they foreclose on that lien and than they evict you.Its called the shakedown racquet. It appears that this is legal I don't understand how it's criminal to me.

Where in America does one charge late fees, interest and attorney fees on services that they don't provide. It appears that in the state of New York they than can evict you
