Stop Animal Ads on Craigslist!

Messages Sent So Far
?Puppy Doe" is the latest animal victim who was 'rehomed' through Craigslist. She fell into the hands of an unspeakable sadist who tortured her for months on end. Many dog fighters also get their 'bait dogs' courtesy of Craigslist through ads which promise animals 'free to a good home'. In the past two years, psychopaths have been jailed for atrociously killing dogs and kittens they got through Craigslist. In spite of the media attention, Craigslists's CEO's apparently have no conscience in regard to 'rehoming' these innocent victims to sociopaths and animal abusers so we, who care about animals, are impelled to speak out and demand they drop ads for animals from their roster of goods.

There is no reason for Craig's list to allow the sale of animals. It's an open door for sick people to collect these helpless dogs so they can torture, beat, sell to labs or use the dogs as bait for dog fights. 30,000 dogs are euthanized in Nevada every year, adoption is the only way. Unfortunately the people that sell or want to rehome their dogs don't have a clue of the animal abuse that happens to the dogs they think their giving to a good home to, or they're completely heartless and ignorant.

What is it going to take for Craigslist to stop allowing animals to be "re-homed" for free. This leaves the animal vulnerable to abusers. It happens all the time. PLEASE help to protect these animals so that no harm comes to them. It's not going to hurt your site by banning animals. Do the right thing!

Please stop this! Dog fighting and animal abuse is very prevalent in my area and all around the country. Allowing this to happen is as bad as doing it yourself.

Abuse of animals has to stop and one step in that direction is to not allow posting of pets for free or for sale on craigslist. It is not even safe to buy and sell goods on craigslist let alone pets. Please stop this venue for irresponsible, abusive and dishonest people to use. Protecting animals is our job as responsible Americans.
