Social Security's Unfair Sacrifices
What would you chose, food, medicine or heat?
Too many people on Social Security have those problems everyday. Our President has withheld the cost of living increases for 2 years from the people that need it. He said there's been no cost of living. Sorry Mr. President but what country are you talking about? This country has had nothing but increases on everything. Please tell me what doesn't cost more these days? People who live in this country deserve food, medicine and heat. They've put their dues in. We shouldn't have people sleeping next to their oven so they can stay warm because they can't afford heat and they needed to eat, people ending up in the hospital because they can't afford their medications, having no electricity because they have just enough for rent and food, Where will this stop? When we're all homeless or dead? I understand tax cuts but cutting the programs that are already far below standards is truly ridiculous, maddening, unfair and degrading to all. Stop forgetting about these people and please start allowing us to live. Give the increases that are due so we don't have to make a choice to eat, have a home to live in that has heat and getting the prescriptions that are needed. You have only 1 choice, could you do it?
