Say No to USMCA!

Every one who takes an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution should oppose USMCA.
Chapter 30 of USMCA would establish a Free Trade Commission that can make changes to the USMCA without the consent of Congress. In fact, the agreement completely undermines Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8 power to regulate trade with foreign nations, such as Mexico and Canada, and to impose tariffs on them should the need arise, as in the case of national security. The Free Trade Commission would also have the power to consider or adopt any changes to a country’s scheduled tariff commitments by accelerating the elimination of tariffs or by making “adjustments to the Tariff Preferential Levels established in Chapter 6 (Textile and Apparel Goods).”
Here are some of the disturbing elements of USMCA:
Chapter 17 grants labor protections to “migrant” workers.
Chapter 23 allows an unlimited number of “migrant” workers
Chapter 23 also creates employer regulations (e.g. LGBTQ Policies)
Chapter 26 forms a North American Competitiveness Committee, “With a view to promoting further economic integration among the Parties”
Chapter 30 establishes a Free Trade Commission of North America which “shall” “consider proposals to amend or modify this Agreement;” and which “may” consider and adopt subject to completion of any necessary legal procedures by each Party, a modification to this Agreement of: (i) the Schedules to Annex 2-B (Tariff Commitments), by accelerating tariff elimination or improving market access conditions;”

USMCA must be opposed! This agreement would erode national sovereignty, in favor of a North American Union. This is not America First!
The oath of office taken by every U.S. Congressman requires each of them to oppose USMCA.
