Save Our Kids

Let's start by saying what thousands have been already saying and will be saying again and again and again. What do we have to do? This is a United States problem, not a global one. We are meant to be united but yet we are so divided.
Kids should be kids. We can agree they should not have to worry about lock down drills and dying but see, thats where it ends. We cannot agree on how to solve this monster that is taking our kids, this monster that is so simple to eliminate but yet so difficult. The creation of this madness for them, by not doing anything but "praying", is creating angst and wonder, where is the protection?
We, parents have to say we can protect them but, can we really? How do we do this without the help of our leaders? Home-school? Keep them all within an arms distance? That's not healthy or a solid solution.
Let's all be the "Pro-Life" you proclaim you are, by protecting the very life you want brought into this world. Yet, after that first breath, these living and breathing children, are being killed by the day/week. We are 13 weeks into the year and yet 19 school/university shootings have taken place. Ill let you do the math.
You are concerned with banning books and tiktok but not the very thing that is killing our children. How many more? No more prayers..Your prayers are not keeping these kids safe. Is it control you are after? The United States doesnt own a certain social platform so lets "ban" it, or you dont "own" the rights to anyone's body but your own so lets take that too, You own the rights to bear arms and thats okay to keep but let's be clear, you cannot own and control it all.
Banning Assault Rifles isn't taking away your rights. You can own your hunting rifle, you can own your hand guns, but lets all agree high powered assault rifles toppled by the cry for more mental health care in this country is spiraling out of control.
You signed up for office to protect this country, serve your people, to make it the best it can be. Is this the best we have to offer?
