Reverse the VA decision to nullify official education benefit contracts

Please advocate for Veterans affected by the VA's decision to nullify their official kicker contracts for education benefits.

Effective, Aug. 1, 2012, the VA enacted a detrimental policy against many thousands of veterans.

This policy has effectively revoked and nullified Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans of their education "Kicker" benefits afforded them through contracts with respective service branches.

These are increases to monthly entitlements over and above their regular monthly GI Bill payments, as incentive pay for critical-skilled positions and extended service agreements, authorized by U.S. code for service branch secretaries to manage and execute.

However, the VA has since made it their policy to not honor these contracts for many Post 9/11 benefit recipients. They have sighted "policy change" as the reason for not honoring the contracts and the policy in force that served as recruitment incentive.
