Responsible Adults for a Rational Congress
A simple call to end the inflexibility of a polarized congress
We the people are supremely annoyed with our elected representatives' obdurate refusal to engage in rational behavior.
Specifically, we are very displeased with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, (et al) and his recent prominent display of ardent obduracy.
We hold this to be a mere symptom of a deeper, ruinous contagion: That of the classic inability to compromise, negotiate or settle a matter in a mature, adult fashion.
Specific Issue: Restore our faith in our current political system by- at the very least- truly considering, if not confirming, a presidential nomination to the Supreme Court.
General Issue: Restore our faith in mankind as a whole by coming to an occasional compromise.
