The slaughter of wolves and their pups is a shameful act that our Government is not preventing. The strain on biodiversity will be vast unless we as humans come to our senses and stop this ignorance once and for all. The millions of dollars that get put into science to support studies for ecology are being ignored. Scientific studies prove the elimination of wildlife species imbalances the ecosystem for other wildlife to survive. Its called the domino effect. Clearly Senator Jon Tester is putting the interests of private ranching businesses and hunters before the well being of our wildlife. A healthy predator population is a healthy ecosystem. Yet this rider panders to those who would rather kill our wildlife so they can graze their cattle on our public lands than take reasonable precautions to protect their livestock, just so they can make more profits for their private businesses at the expense of our wildlife and public places. It's not our country's responsibility to make more money for big agribusiness. The hunting lobby wants these predators killed so they can create an imbalance of prey animals for humans to kill as a hobby. Surely a better pasttime can be found to keep them entertained that will not cause the destruction of our public places and their ecosystems. These places and the wildlife therein belong to all of us, not just a small group of businessmen and hobbyists. Please take the well-being of our country's wild places seriously. The wealth of a few does not excuse the destruction of what belongs to us all.REPORT COMMENTS
