Repeal HIPAA
Allow Health Care Subscribers to Gain information related to Covered Adult Children
I have two adult children included as covered individuals on my health Insurance policy. Although I am responsible for non-covered health care expenses incurred by them, I am unable to get information regarding claims without their express authorization to the health care provider. This is the case, even though reimbursement checks are made out to me. As the parent, and the sole responsible party for my childrens' health care, I find this absurd.
