Relief from Fair Sentencing Act by Congress

Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fairness in the Federal system; We need to make the Fair Sentencing Act RETROACTIVE

My father, Craig L. Fleming is currently serving a life sentence in Federal Prison. He has consistently served 16 years in federal prison and deserves a second chance at life. Just like other defendants in the same situation, he was not sentenced fairly and does not have a violent, criminal history. There is a discrimination in sentencing and fairness. Things like hearsay and witnesses that is considered credible (who testifies with lies for their own sentence reduction) should not be beneficial to a guilty verdict. Congress needs to consider the the depths of all unfairness that goes along with the Fair Sentencing Act for crack defendants. Most of the defendants found guilty are institutionalized with harsh penalties as a result of another "inmate" or defendant's accusations.

Anyone that knows Craig L. Fleming would say that by the content of his character was always a honest, family man always looking to give a helping hand to anyone in need. I know that his, along with others like him, release would be valuable to many and very much appreciated by way more than few. If Congress cut Mandatory Minimums, we can have a fair opportunity to prove that they have made the right decision.
