Recalling The Adoptions and Safe Families Act is of high importance

Greetings to Honorable Members of Congress. I'm Mrs. LaShelle M. Smith-Pedroza and I'm an American citizen of the United States. I bring forth this petition in good faith and knowledge facts that's in need of your support.
I will be thorough and straight forward in this petition as much as possible.
To begin, I would like to address that The creation of the Adoptions and Safe Families Act is intended to clarify federal policy to ensure safety for the children who comes into contact with the CPS, DSS,DSC,OR DFPS respectfully. It would be fruitful if the true intentions of the child's safety where to be recognized.
Secondly, the agency by many names and acronyms respectfully the same agency has demonstrated it's true intent in the opposite direction of what federal policy and law would allow. It's set up deliberate constitutional violations of minority parents substantive due process rights to parent and violations of procedural due process rights, in a court of law. It's allowed caseworkers to make harsh decisions of the parents, mind control our children and permanently separate families forever. The Act is too vague on it's description of abuse and neglect and I do recognize that it's left up to the state's to decide what constitutes as abuse and neglect.
Thirdly what happens when the state's doesn't give a definitive definition of abuse or neglect? I mean as an American citizen that believes in law and order, many claims that the state construes as abuse or neglect, the elements are at a non satisfactory level and would result in the cases to be dismissed for lack of evidence, which should be in criminal courts with a criminal district attorney. Now family courts on the other hand uses this as it's fuel to go really hard on extremely soft cases. I've questioned many times on The State of Texas and how the family courts defines what abuse and neglect is and very minimal to none has sufficed. You do however hear of true abuse and neglect cases occurring on the inside. The foster care system. This has created a lucrative method for CPS caseworkers to take and adopt more children with the allegations against the parents yet to be sustained or unsustained.
Many parents are still stuck without a remedy of reinstating their parental rights. The ASFA has only showed to hold a prejudice against the minority families and it explains how many minorities myself included can lose your child/ or children to a family that is respectfully considered a majority. There's a huge disadvantage to the families due to this Act. I've counted since 2013 over one million families that have lost their children and not just the minority families. Yes minority families are the targets for their families being severed but it's happening to all parents dealing with CPS.
This Act is a bill that doesn't need more funding but to be repealed. This is an act and it can't outweigh a law and surely not a fundamental one belonging to parents, with respect to The United States Constitution. This Act doesn't say anywhere in it's language that the caseworkers can go based off phone calls and remove the children from the home and it doesn't say that this policy shall abridge a law. No these tactics are performed by the agency workers with the support of the ASFA. It has however allowed for the agency workers to step above what law would allow, take it into it's own hands and further get away with the conundrum it places on innocent families.
I do believe that at one time, it may have been used for the good but now it's just drastically worse. No need for reform it's the time for repealing this Act. It's time for the families that has lost their children, to have independent reviews of the proceedings and new trials and new judicial officers presiding over their cases on a neutral bases. There needs to be more jury demand which can hold the guilty accountable to the fullest. It's time for we as the parents to be reunited with our children. This Act helped take our children but new policy and laws are needed for the blood families for remedy sought. I will be addressing my complaints and concerns through my legislative districts, as this branch of government is responsible for creating and writing laws. The time is here and we as the American Citizens and parents are calling for this Act to be recalled. This repealing is paramount to the best interest of the children and can save many more children from being taken without due process of law and entering into a dangerous living environment through the foster care system, the funding isn't needed for this Act because it to creates a conflict. For every termination the judicial officer of the court (Trier of Fact) looks at $100,000. 00 per termination.
Now with money at that price, do you think that the parents are gonna see justice? It will continue to be one sided and many more families stand to lose their children. This Act created a trillion dollar lucrative revenue for the agencies throughout the United States. Now I stand and I affirm that this change is of great importance.
I thank every Honorable Congress Member for listening to my appeals for repeal on a topic that is long overdue and I look forward to speaking with you all in a prompt manner.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL. PAX VOBISCUM (PEACE BE WITH YOU).
