Protecting American Intellectual Property
As it stands, companies are allowed to transfer intellectual property to China without any risk other than losing the "China market". Save for a few companies that actually petition to prohibit sales of their stolen intellectual property, it is permitted to be sold to the US by Chinese companies while undercutting the creators. I propose we give companies an incentive to protect their intellectual property by making any stolen IP that isn't blocked public domain. This way either companies make serious attempts to protect IP or American companies can make use of it at the same cost as the Chinese companies that stole it.
