Protect The 2nd Amendment From Alteration!

You need to support the 2nd Amendment! Please understand, disarming innocent citizens, does not protect innocent citizens. Many of you think banning and or limiting guns will help but it will not. Good guys abide laws, bad guys don't so guess who will still end up with guns? Banning or limiting guns (like there is not enough restrictions) will only make an increase of crime. You'll be harming Americans more than protecting them! Half of Switzerland's citizens have guns, Switzerland has the lowest crime rate in the world. More good guys need guns, bad guys won't last long afterwards.
You want to basically take away the protection that many American citizens want and need! Police take on average 4-6 minutes to respond to an emergency, why can't a citizen have there own choice of gun for self-defense? If a modification of the 2nd Amendment happens, you'll be leaving innocent American citizens in the line of fire from bad guys.
There will be a huge spike in crime rate because the good guys follow laws, bad guys don't! In this world, bad things happen and will continue to happen - the best way to limit them is to apply more force to good guys. Even if you ban every gun, there will still be knives, and baseball bats, and other weapons. BAD GUYS ARE RESTLESS! Taking guns simply helps them.
Please reconsider. Do not alter the 2nd Amendment! Its the last thing any American citizen wants.
