Prohibit elected officials from being employed by foreign entities.
Many elected officials now are being paid by foreign entities (countries,businesses, individuals) to support actions not in the best interest of the US after they leave office.
Pass law(s) to prohibit elected officials at the federal level (Senators,Representatives,Presidents, Vice-Presidents) from being employed or taking income or benefits in kind from foreign entities ( countries, businesses, individuals) after leaving office. As it now exists the opportunity to try to use their former positions to influence decisions/actions that favor foreign interests is too great. Passing such laws as necessary to prevent this activity will benefit the US and make sure we elect representatives who have only the best interests of the US in mind. They should know this restriction exists before they are elected.
